What about Warranties and service?
The manufacturers set the guidelines on how their products should be
serviced, and length of warranty period. We purchase exclusively from manufacturer
authorized outlets with full warranties passed directly to the client. Should customer
require extended support services, network consulting, installation or other related
services, these are arranged through our service department or quoted at time of
sale. We also perform onsite warranty service for select manufacturers like Xerox, Compaq
and others.
Our company has computer experts and a complete IMS and
purchasing department. Why
do we need you?
Most of our client base follows this pattern, and daily use our services to
augment their own expertise. Simply put, we represent excellent value and experience :
- We work for the client rather than the
manufacturer. It is your interests we represent by suggesting products.
- We provide consistent purchase pricing and volume
discounts to our regular clients.
- We purchase directly from authorized wholesale
distributors or manufacturers to uphold warrantees and perform upgrades. We then service
after the sale.
- We incur little inventory overhead, and therefore
remain unbiased, flexible, and above all objective.
What
Internet services do you offer ?
Our IMS division specializes in all
aspects of web site design and E-commerce marketing considerations. Their talents have
launched web projects for the fortune 500 to the small business owner. For a quick
overview of IMS services --Click Here
Does IMS require deposits on web-work?
Yes in most cases ! In order for us to
dedicate our limited staff to your Web project we require an earnest non-refundable
deposit. This assures us of a mutual commitment to getting the project done right and on
time. Deposits focus our talents on the job at hand. Experience teaches us that a clients
financial pledge keeps us from "fishing without bait".
How do I
know if a names already taken?
IMS usually researches suitable names at
the time of developing the web site planning guide. Use the InterNic's form below to
checkout names. Over 60,000 new URL's are gobbled up each month.
Search the database of registered domain
names using InterNic's WHOIS:
Can we view our site under-construction ?
Certainly ! We certainly
cannot achieve customer satisfaction without allowing them to see
"work-in-progress". We therefore FTP to clients host-site, or allow them to view
at one of our URL sites the completed work. This also allows us to perform work for
customers regardless of the location.

General 's
The Internet is the existing version of the
Information Superhighway. It consists of a world-wide network of computers that
communicate with each other using phone lines and direct communications. The network is
primarily used for on-line communications and information exchange. Almost every piece of
information known is available through the Internet from sport scores to stock information
to NASA satellite data. Thousands of continuous conversations also take place daily
between individual users. Persons who wish to discuss specific topics do so in ongoing
conversations usually referred to as newsgroups.
Originally started in the late 1960's by the US Department of Defense, the network
(ARPA net) first tied together the country's research institutions, defense contractors,
and military installations. The system has no central communications hub, as all computers
involved can talk to all the others through an amazing system of links (every Telcom line
in the world is tied in), and was designed this way to avoid destruction or loss of data
in a nuclear attack.
:
Who owns the Internet?
Quite simply, no one person or entity owns the
network. It is made up of individual computers that are owned by people, businesses,
universities, and government agencies. The Internet network consists of approximately
1,900,000 smaller networks and the links between them. Some of the networks and links are
owned by organizations that established them. The larger system is owned by the people
that use it. This includes you and other users on the system. We all the world own it.
:
Who controls the Internet?
No single entity controls the network. The users
of the system determine the policies of acceptable use and enforce what few rules exist.
Acceptable use is determined by convention decisions, not by regulation. This consensus
decision-making has evolved into a net culture, which dictates how users should act and
communicate with others.
Successful business activities have been initiated since the beginning of the 1990's
when the federal government lifted restrictions against commercial activities on its
links. Two important acceptable use guidelines for doing business on the Internet involve
protecting personal choice and preventing intrusive marketing techniques.
:
What is the difference between the Internet and World Wide Web (WWW)?
The Internet is a collection of inter-linking
computers or networks which communicate using a common language. One of these language
standards is the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). Information is distributed via this
vast system of networks, until it reaches your computer.
Fortunately for the computer world, the more memorable phrase World Wide Web was
coined. Some people call a business advertisement on the WWW a "Web Page,"
"Web Site," or "Storefront." All three terms are equally correct and
used interchangeably.

Here you'll be able to see questions and answers to common
problems facing new users and online hosting customers. We have benefits to outline for
ISP accounts, visitors, and online merchants, as we launch this site to service both.
Multi-Tech will also offer web site owners many revenue sharing opportunities we will
display here. We are testing the shopping cart and merchant services interfaces before
going online with our shopping Cybermall. Putting all the technologies together to setup
the perfect shopping community ( as outline in IMS whitepaper)
